USP Uses ComNET To Track Progress In District

The Union Square Partnership has partnered with the Fund for the City of New York on a new initiative to improve service delivery in our neighborhood. The Fund's Computerized Neighborhood Environment Tracking system (ComNET) is a program that lends easily operated hand-held computers to community organizations so that problematic street level conditions, such as trip hazards, graffiti and missing lights, can be recorded and tabulated quickly, easily and accurately. Once recorded, USP will use the information to baseline and track these conditions with our Clean Team and maintenance vendors, as well as to more effectively advocate for assistance from agencies. Stay tuned for ComNET updates in future e-newsletters.
