If your abuser lives in Fulton county you will be able to obtain assistance from Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers at 404-521-0790 or through the Fulton County Solicitor's Victim Witness Office at 404-730-6883.

If your abuser lives in Gwinnett, Clayton or DeKalb counties and you are unable to afford a lawyer you may be able to obtain assistance from Atlanta Legal Aid at 404-377-0701.

If your abuser lives in Cobb county call Cobb County Legal Aid at 770-528-2565.

If your abuser lives in any other county in Georgia and you are unable to afford a lawyer you may be able to obtain assistance from Georgia Legal Services at 1-800-498-9469. Georgia Legal Services has 13 offices throughout Georgia.
Emergency Shelters

To obtain information about the closest family violence emergency shelter or to obtain information about services provided by the shelters, call the 24-hour hotline at 1-800-334-2836 or 1-800-33-HAVEN. There are over 40 family violence shelters serving the state of Georgia that provide emergency shelter, advocacy, support and referral.
