Kahdija Jabbi is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Baruch College, where she was selected for the prestigious Marxe Chair Faculty Fellowship Award and collaborated with a faculty chair professor on research, writing, and proofreading projects that sharpened her analytical, communication, and policy skills. Deeply committed to public service, community empowerment, and social equity, Kahdija believes in building strong neighborhoods through hands-on engagement and practical, community-driven solutions. She has supported multiple initiatives, including distributing fresh produce with the South Bronx Food Hub Collective while learning about urban gardening, advocating for solutions to gun violence through Stand Up to Violence at Jacobi Medical Center, and working with children in afterschool and summer enrichment programs that encouraged creativity and growth. These experiences reflect her dedication to combining policy knowledge with real-world action to create meaningful and lasting impact. Kahdija’s academic and advocacy work highlight her drive to expand public programs that advance equity, improve quality of life, and strengthen community ties, and her unwavering commitment to service fuels her vision of creating lasting, measurable change across New York City’s neighborhoods, particularly those most underserved.
