Bio

Ziko Malambo is a Zambian-born architect currently pursuing a Master of Science in Architecture at the Bernard & Anne Spitzer School of Architecture in New York. His journey into architecture is shaped by a personal commitment to honor his late father’s vision and a passion for creating spaces that uplift both people and communities. With over a decade of professional practice across Zambia, Ziko has delivered residential, commercial, and institutional projects emphasizing context-driven and culturally responsive solutions. This experience inspired him to establish Enenum Consultancy, a firm focused on sustainable, community-centered design that addresses the evolving needs of African cities. The firm’s portfolio includes projects such as the redevelopment of the International School of Lusaka, reflecting a balance of technical rigor and cultural sensitivity. Beyond architecture, Ziko enjoys basketball and football, as well as reading African literature, world history, science fiction, and geography, which enrich his perspective and keep him connected to culture and community. Through his studies and professional work, Ziko aims to advance architecture that is accessible, sustainable, and generationally impactful, fostering inclusive, resilient, and vibrant spaces in Zambia, across Africa, and globally.
