Juliana brings several years of experience in the nonprofit sector and academic research across rural and urban contexts in Northeast India, focusing on social policy, marginalization, and local development strategies. In New York City, she serves as a voluntary Program Coordinator with the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing, working directly with unhoused clients, city agencies, and community members to address housing needs and strengthen social support systems. Her professional and academic experiences inform her focus on historically marginalized communities, particularly migrant families, informal workers, and those facing housing insecurity. Her combined training in social work and urban policy guides her commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable, and sustainable urban development that uplifts vulnerable populations.
