May 26, 2026: Book Talk with Rossana Rosado

• 2 Minutes
For many communities, especially those historically underrepresented in media and public narratives, the absence of authentic storytelling has real consequences. It influences how people are perceived, how policies are shaped, and even how individuals see themselves.
Rossana Rosado has spent her career working at the intersection of storytelling, media, and public service. She challenges incomplete narratives and creates space for voices that are often overlooked and undervalued.
Born and raised in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents, her work reflects a deep commitment to community and representation.  In her memoir Bronx Attitude, Rosado shares her journey; from growing up in a close-knit, working-class community to becoming a leader in journalism and public service. Her story is a reflection of the broader experience of communities navigating systems that were not always built for them.
Join us on May 26, when the Fund for the City of New York will host a fireside chat with Rosado to explore a central question:
How do we tell our stories and why do they matter?
