Bio
Henry Kanengiser is pursuing a Master’s in Urban Planning at NYU. Henry previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government with a minor in Public Policy at Cornell University. Before entering his graduate program, he worked as a technical research assistant at MDRC, a social policy research organization, researching and evaluating workforce training and employment to support programs across the country. Henry was drawn to urban planning by the opportunity to incorporate participatory planning and power-sharing into policy decisions. He relishes opportunities to use his quantitative research and visualization skills to empower residents and communities often overlooked in political processes. In his graduate program, he has been drawn to climate adaptation and sustainable transportation planning and plans to work in New York City on these topics after graduating.
